GENERAL MANAGER/RESTAURANT MANAGER

Job Title: General Manager/Restaurant Manager
Reports to: Area Manager
Supervises Directly: All managers and team members (RTM’s)

Purpose for the position:
* To be fully responsible for store cleanliness and upholding Daphne’s standards of serving safe food.
* To provide a safe and healthy environment for both our team members and guests.
* To lead the team toward achieving the restaurant’s financial goals.
* To create a learning environment through mentoring.
* To be fully responsible for all aspects of guest service and satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities:
* Promote an attitude of pride, cooperation and success in the restaurant.
* Maximize restaurant sales and profits through great guest service and efficient cost control.
* Responsible for all cash procedures, receipts and deposits.
* Achieve and maintain the accepted standards for food quality and service.
* Ensures that overall food quality, presentation, preparation and production comply with recipe guidelines.
* Fully responsible in handling all issues regarding RTM discipline.
* Maintain proper staffing levels by planning manpower needs for the restaurant.
* Training of new team members, demonstrating the Daphne’s dedication to team play, guest service, and
self-sufficient responsibility.
* Committed approach to maintaining a clean & organized restaurant.
* Participate as necessary in preparation, cooking and serving food.
* Ensure optimum guest service is our culture.

Total education and/or equivalent experience:
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent with a 2.0 grade average.
